What you get

  • Diamond honing to remove etches, scratches and lippage
  • Mirror polish or soft honed matte finish — your call
  • Travertine hole filling and grout line repair
  • Marble, limestone, granite, saltillo, slate and terrazzo

Why this matters in Florida+

Marble, travertine and limestone are soft, and anything acidic — wine, citrus, pool chemicals, the wrong cleaner — eats a dull mark into the surface. No cleaner fixes that. We resurface the stone with diamond abrasives, take it back to a uniform hone or mirror polish, then seal it. Stone restoration runs $3.50–$6.50 per square foot.

FAQ

Marble & Stone questions

What causes dull white marks on marble?+

Acid etching. Anything acidic chemically eats the polished surface, leaving a dull spot. It is physical damage, not a stain, so it can only be corrected by re-polishing the stone.

Can scratched travertine be repaired without replacing it?+

Almost always. Travertine is soft enough that diamond honing removes surface scratches, and open holes are filled to match before the final finish.

Do you polish granite countertops?+

Yes. Granite is harder than marble, so it takes heavier diamond work, but scratches, dull edges and etched spots around the sink can be restored in place.

How much does marble polishing cost?+

Stone restoration and polishing runs $3.50–$6.50 per square foot depending on the stone, the finish and how much damage there is. We quote a flat price after the test patch.
