We cut out damaged areas, color-match epoxy and aggregate to the existing floor, fill, and grind the repair flush so it blends in. We also repair the rust stains and dark shadowing that come from old tack strips and furniture. Repairs are done before honing and polishing, so they disappear into the finished floor.
Polishing is where the shine comes from — and on terrazzo, the shine is mechanical, not a coating. We hone and polish through fine diamond grits to the sheen you choose, from a soft matte to a mirror gloss, then apply a penetrating sealer. Because the gloss is in the stone itself, it never needs waxing or stripping again: routine damp mopping is all the maintenance a polished terrazzo floor needs.
